While the first book in the Travises series reads more like traditional women’s fiction, <em>Blue-Eyed Devil</em>, the second book, is definitely romance. <em>Blue-Eyed Devil</em> tackles the heavy topic of spousal abuse, and the some scenes were difficult to read. Haven’s story was emotional and gut-wrenching, but it made her journey to a happily ever after even more satisfying.
